Not-for-Profit organizations at times require external resources to meet specific needs, or to complete a project. Issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) can help you find potential partners with the right resources, skills, and expertise.
The two-hour session on RFP writing and process management will offer practical insights for not-for-profit staff and boards on how to procure goods and services.
Key topics covered will include:
- When and how to use an RFP process?
- Key elements to be included in an RFP.
- How to evaluate proposals?
- Turning winning proposal into a contract/service agreement.
- How to ensure your suppliers fulfill the terms of their proposals/service agreements?
Participants will come away from the session with first-hand insights and knowledge on writing an RFP and carrying out the key elements of an RFP process.
The session will be led by Policy Intel‘s Chris LeClair, a management consultant who has worked with over 100 provincial, regional, and national non-profit associations.
