Solange Aké – Distinct Magic Events

The owner of Distinct Magic Events, Solange bears the classic hallmarks of an entrepreneur. Shortly after launching her business in 2020 she was faced with the shutdown of large corporate events owing to Covid-19 public health restrictions. She quickly pivoted and created Fusion Gift Boxes, a business focused on specialized gift boxes promoting local artisans. The company bridges the diversity of West Africa, France, and the Maritimes through thoughtful gifts for companies and individuals.

Today, Solange lends her attention to detail and her French-inspired sensibility to creating unforgettable corporate and private events across PEI and Eastern Canada.

Arriving in PEI from Paris in 2017, she is thankful for the support she has received from RDÉE Î.-P.-É. and the Rural Action Centre in Wellington.

Solange has joined the RDEE’s sales mission to Quebec for the last few years. Participating in these missions has helped her increase brand awareness for her business, and she has found the networking events very helpful.
