St. Peters Bay General Store – Esso
When I purchased the St. Peters Bay General Store in 2022, my goal was to bring back a vital service to our community. The store had been closed for over a year, and residents were traveling to Morell for basic necessities. I wanted to change that—but as a newcomer to business ownership, I needed guidance. That’s when I turned to the Rural Action Centre.
I first heard about the Centre through word-of-mouth and local business recommendations. From day one, their support was outstanding. They provided expert business advice, helped me navigate funding programs, and connected me with resources that strengthened our operations. Their guidance gave me the confidence to make informed decisions and set the store on a path to success.
Today, the store is thriving. We offer groceries, convenience items, and essential products, including fuel services through Esso. Every day, we serve customers who are thrilled to have these services back in St. Peters Bay.
