Darcy Brennan – Hometown Properties

When he wanted to start his business, Darcy Brennan followed the advice of a few friends and called the Rural Action Centre (RAC) in Montague for help. He wanted to make sure he was taking the right steps to get his business off the ground and to ensure he was able to tap into any available supports that could help him. The Rural Action Centre staff assisted in general start-up knowledge from how to register the business, to training opportunities, financing options, a variety of supports from their partnering organizations, and ongoing tips throughout the entire start-up process. Darcy’s business, Hometown Properties, located in Valleyfield, offers property management including lawncare, landscaping, tree trimming, painting, cottage cleaning, a variety of handyman services, snow clearing and more.
