Client Success Story: Abram-Village Handcraft Coop

The Abram-Village Handcraft Co-op was established more than half a century ago to sell handicrafts made by artisans in the Evangeline region. Many of the handcrafted items are made in the colours of the Acadian flag. Alvina Bernard, President of the Co-op credits the Rural Action Centre in Wellington with helping them hire a summer student in the past. Rural Transit Solutions Fund

The Planning and Design Projects Stream provides grants of up to $50,000 toward projects to plan and design new or expanded transit solutions. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. For details here.


Supporting Women Entrepreneurs

PEIBWA and the Interministerial Women’s Secretariat have teamed up to provide five $1000 Micro-Grants designed to support women entrepreneurs. Deadline to apply: April 2, 2024 at 4:00PM. Applicants must be PEIBWA members in good standing to qualify. To learn more or to apply, check HERE.
