Innovation PEI: Small Business Supports – info session en français

Lunch and Learn in French: Mathieu Foran will share information on Innovation PEI’s new export and marketing supports, as well as the Small Business Investment Grant.

Mr. Foran will present the NEW “Export and Diversification Assistance” marketing program, which helps companies cover the marketing costs required to carry out their export plans and activities, including online sales.

« The fund will enable companies to

• -accelerate sales and increase market share.
• – help companies to cover the costs associated with their participation in activities coordinated by world trade services.
• – help cover the costs associated with bringing qualified buyers or partners into the province to increase sales activities.
• This program offers non-refundable assistance covering up to 60% of eligible costs, to a threshold of $32,000. Eligible expenses include market research, advertising, trade shows (including travel) and marketing strategies.

 Mr. Foran will then offer details of the “Small Business Investment Grant”, which helps businesses purchase eligible capital assets (equipment, building improvements, construction, technology upgrades, more efficient energy system upgrades). It covers up to 15% of costs, with a maximum grant of $3,750.
