WCB: Supervisor Safety

Supervisors play a vital role in maintaining workplace health and safety. As leaders who guide and oversee the work of others, they have a unique ability to influence and strengthen the workplace safety culture.

This session will introduce participants to the concept of due diligence and inform them of the legal responsibilities’ supervisors have for worker safety.

Additionally, it will explore the importance of health and safety orientation in fostering a safe workplace.

Topics will include :

employer responsibilities related to orientation,

the benefits of a well-structured onboarding process,

practical strategies for developing and delivering effective orientations and key components that should be included.
