WCB: Young and Vulnerable Workers

For young and new workers, learning how to do their job well is a great first step in preventing workplace injury. Chances are these employees probably haven’t thought about the different ways they can be injured at work. The reality is that what you don’t know CAN hurt you!

Participants will learn about the significant influence supervisors can have on young and new workers’ safety.

The session is meant for employers and supervisors who will hear what PEI workers say about their hesitation to raise their workplace safety concerns, and what they can do to encourage workers to speak up.
