Festival & Events Stability Program
Grants available to offset costs associated with COVID 19

Festivals or events held between July 20 and October 31, 2021 can apply for a grant to cover up to 20% of costs. Both non-profit and for-profit entities are eligible to apply. Deadline to apply is October 1, 2021. A festival or event may involve an activity that showcases or highlights key pillars of tourism including: sports, culinary and culture. Lead the Shift – Workplace Diversity & Inclusion Program
Register for this FREE program by August 25th

Lead the Shift is a program that will help you develop a greater capacity to welcome newcomer talent to support the success of your business. At the end of the program you will have a greater understanding of attraction, recruitment, selection, on-boarding and retention practices to use within your organization. Weekly online sessions run from September 8 until October 20th. Learn more and register HERE.

Emergency First Aid & CPR
Certification for Companies & Individuals

Rural Action Centres in Alberton and Montague have partnered with C&M First Aid PEI to offer Emergency First Aid courses on a regular basis. C&M offers Red Cross certification that is valid for three years. Check on the one-day courses scheduled this Fall on our Training and Events calendar.

More in-person training and information sessions will be offered at our three Rural Action Centres – in addition to online offerings – beginning the second full week of September. Be sure to mark your calendar and contact your Client Information Officer to register for the course nearest you.
