More Funding for Community-based Seniors Programs
Island community groups representing or supporting seniors can access new or additional funds that promote healthy aging and active living, aging in place, social inclusion and age-friendly communities. Groups eligible for funding include non-profit organizations, community-based coalitions, networks, municipal governments, band/tribal councils, and other organizations that support indigenous peoples in Prince Edward Island.
A call for funding applications will be issued on April 12, 2021 and eligible groups can apply then at PEI Seniors’ Secretariat Grant.
