Multi-Season Tourism Microgrants
The 2023 Multi-Season Tourism Micro Grant Program is designed to extend the season. The microgrants will help members of PEI Regional Tourism Associations (RTAs) and Destination Management Organizations (DMOs) try new event initiatives outside of peak season and drive new business from Sunday to Thursday. Municipal Approaches to Housing Supply & Affordability Workshop
June 19th, 6 – 8 p.m., Alberton

Shout Out to Young Millionaires across PEI
Summer officially starts next week and that means a lot of PEI youth will soon be honing their entrepreneurial skills. The Young Millionaires Program (YMP) provides an opportunity for youth aged 9 – 16 to learn how to run their own business and earn money. Rural Action Centre staff and partners have been delivering YMP in rural PEI for many years. Keep an eye out for these budding entrepreneurs at events in your region over the summer.
Celebrating Canada Day and Summer Festivals
Be sure to check this schedule of local community and regional festivals happening from tip to tip. The Three Rivers Festivals will feature Canada Day in Cardigan and the Diverse City MultiCultural Festival takes place all summer long across the province.
