Storm Response – Help for Businesses, NFPs, Employers & Self-Employed
Check out the programs below to help recover from losses related to Fiona.
Wage Rebate for Impacted Workers (includes self-employed) to help cover wages while the business was closed and not earning revenue because of power outages or storm damage.
Emergency Jobs Initiative provides wage subsidies to hire temporary staff for clean-up.
Provincial Disaster Financial Assistance Program is available to help individuals and families with costs to repair or replace uninsurable, essential basic property loss due to disasters. The program is also available to small businesses, not-for-profit organizations and municipal governments.
Small Business Week October 17 – 21
Rural Action Centres are collaborating with partners in communities across the province to celebrate small businesses. We are hosting BBQs and drop-ins at businesses, networking events, and informative workshops.
