Tribe Start Small Grant
July 21 Deadline
Racialized entrepreneurs face major challenges in accessing funding. In fact, a significant finding from a 2021 Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives report revealed that businesses owned by visible minorities received only 8.2% of the available funding.
In recognition of these challenges, and thanks to the generous support of Emera, Tribe Network is able to offer grants ranging from $500 to $1000 to aspiring BIPOC entrepreneurs.
Don’t miss your chance to move your idea or business forward. Apply now for the Tribe Start Small Grant Program! Applications are due July 21, 2024.
Youth On Board

The Youth-on-Board Program is an opportunity for 25 rural high-school students to be part of a rural non-profit board.
Youth will have the opportunity to learn how things work, develop leadership skills, work with guidance of a mentor, AND earn an honorarium. The program is a win-win!
Not-for-profits benefit from the insights of a younger generation and set themselves up to potentially recruit new board members.
The deadline for students and not-for-profits to apply is August 30, 2024. Find out more about the program: who can apply, how to apply, and other nitty-gritty details HERE.
