Workshops: Performance Appraisals

August 21, 2025

Workshops: Performance Appraisals

From obligation to tool for growth & engagement

This interactive session led by Bruce Joshua of Capstan Consulting will challenge outdated practices and empower leaders to build meaningful connections that engage employees and foster a culture of development. Each Rural Action Centre will host a session. Reserve your spot in the location nearest you.

Youth on Board

The Youth-on-Board Program is an opportunity for 25 rural PEI high-school students to be part of a rural non-profit board. Participating youth and non-profits will be paid an honorarium based on the number of meetings attended by youth. Applications will be accepted until Friday August 29, 2025. Find more information and apply online HERE.

Help create a Sense of Belonging

Individuals and any not-for-profit entity including schools and municipalities can apply now to the GEDI program for funding to help make PEI a place where everyone feels welcome and included. The program supports initiatives that celebrate different cultures and backgrounds and help remove obstacles that make it hard for some people to fully take part in life on the Island. The deadline to apply is midnight September 24, 2025. Find the guidelines HERE.

Hiring Foreign Talent: Employer Information Sessions

In the month of September, the Community Navigators are hosting a series of information sessions across the province to help employers navigate PEI’S new rules and immigration pathways. Check our Training & Event Schedule for dates, times and registration details.

New Fall Training Sessions

Whether you want to brush up on your digital design skills at a virtual Canva Basics workshop, jump into the Nuts & Bolts of Performance Appraisals in a half-day in-person session at the Rural Action Centre nearest you, take part in the popular business plan workshop series, or get certified in Emergency First Aid, Rural Action Centres offer a variety of workshops that will help you succeed in operating your business or not-for-profit organization.
