Young Millionaires Program – Applications now open

The Young Millionaires Program (YMP) provides youth aged 9 to 16 the opportunity to learn how to run a business AND earn money over the summer. Participants are offered workshops, guidance and support with a non-repayable grant of up to $150 per individual, or up to $200 for a partnership. YMP coordinators for Western, Francophone and Eastern regions will be working out of the Rural Action Centres. Please contact the local Client Information Officer (contact info below) if you have questions. Deadline to apply is June 1st. Apply here TODAY.

Community Service Bursary DOUBLES – A Benefit to Students & Volunteer Organizations

Financial supports will double this year for high school students who are eligible to receive the Community Service Bursary. Graduating PEI high school students who volunteer at a registered volunteer organization during grades 10 – 12 could receive between $300 to $1,500 to help pay for post-secondary education (anywhere in Canada). The program also provides students with the opportunity to develop skills, gain work experience, give back to their community, meet new people, and develop social skills. Check the details HERE.
