Anti-Racism Grants for Community Organizations
Deadline March 6
Non-profit or charitable organizations can apply for a grant valued from $10,000 to $50,000 to assist with Anti-Racism activities that benefit racialized and Indigenous communities in PEI. The Anti-Racism Grant is an initiative to help promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, address racism and strengthen the link between racial equality and community cohesion. Attention Employers: Learn about Canada’s Economic Immigration Programs
Free Virtual Sessions March 1 to April 5
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada is offering a virtual learning series for employers. Attend one or all the interactive sessions that will be offered in English and French. Topics include Recruiting Global Talent; Work Permits –Temporary Foreign Workers Program; Francophone Immigration; Permanent Resident Pathways and more. Each week will feature a new topic. 2023 Acadian & Francophone Entrepreneurs’ Gala – March 11
The Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with RDEÉ Î-P-É and the Wellington Rural Action Centre, will shine the spotlight on its entrepreneurial community during the annual Entrepreneurs Gala. The Chamber will recognize and celebrate the success of current, up-and-coming and long-time entrepreneurs. Tickets available until March 3.
2023 Seniors’ Secretariat Grant application Now Open
Seniors’ Secretariat grants provide up to $5,000 per project to eligible groups interested in enriching the lives of seniors. Non-profit organizations, community-based coalitions, municipal governments, and Indigenous organization are eligible to apply.
