Employers: Getting Ready for Summer

Spring is just around the corner and for many PEI businesses that means planning for summer operations, including hiring additional staff. Employers can apply now for wage subsidy programs for two separate student employment programs: Jobs for Youth and Post-Secondary Student Program. Employers may also want to make sure they are ready from an Occupational Health & Safety perspective. Rural Action Centres are pleased to partner with WCB to offer in-person workshops on OHS for Seasonal Businesses. Check our training calendar and sign up today.
Grants for projects supporting Women & Girls

Non-profit organizations across the province can now apply for funding to support projects that benefit women and girls. For more information about the grant and application process, visit Interministerial Women’s Secretariat Grant. The application deadline is April 24, 2026.
