Tariff Relief: Helping PEI Businesses Respond

The Prince Edward Island Tariff Impact Relief Fund will help businesses respond to the impacts of U.S. tariffs, Canadian counter tariffs and related trade disruptions. The temporary fund supports projects that strengthen business competitiveness, improve resilience, and help companies adapt to changing market conditions. talented creative professionals. This exciting initiative highlights the vital role PEI creatives play in strengthening both our culture and economy.

Employers: Do you hire Temporary Foreign Workers?
Government is bringing in new regulations under the Temporary Foreign Worker Protection Act. The regulations will establish an employer registry and introduce penalties for anyone who does not comply with the act. The draft regulations and information on how to participate in the consultation are available HERE. Feedback can be submitted to [email protected] until September 17, 2026.
